Estancia Hotel La Jolla Wedding PhotographerThe bride and groom decided to see each other before the ceremony to take all the photos.I'm really a big fan when they make this decision. It's nice to have time to walk around the location without having to rush to to the reception. This might be the only time they have together alone the entire wedding day. It really gives then a chance to relax and soak it all in. The first site is one my favorites parts of the wedding day. It could be at the ceremony or set up before. The traditional way for the first site is at the ceremony but sometimes you get the enthusiastic guest with their camera jumping in front of the real photographer and also with everyone staring at them they can feel nervous and the bride and groom cant be themselves. Creating the first site before the ceremony we can pick a private location with a great background and soft light. We usually photograph these with our telephoto zoom lenses so they can have this intimate moment without any other distractions. We like to give them some time together before walking around to create the photographs often times they will also include the bridal party after their photos are taken. This way after the ceremony we can just photograph the families and go straight to the party! This was taken at the Estancia hotel and Spa in La Jolla, A charming hotel with beautiful ranch style architecture lush gardens and award-winning landscaping this garden venue offers a stunning setting for outdoor San Diego weddings..Estancia has so many amazing places to photograph.I used the foilage to help frame the photo I really love this moment between the bride and groom. This wedding was coordinated by Suzanne Duffy of Crown Weddings with the beautiful flowers by Sharron Mintz from Organic Elements. .
